Here are some rules of thumb to go by…
Great for short run including one off t‑shirt printing, teamwear and prototyping.
For runs of 20 through to 1000s or if there’s lots of detail in your design.
Excellent for work apparel, club merchandise and alike, where an extra touch of quality is needed.

Vinyl heat transfer t-shirt printing produces a high-definition and ultra-durable print.
It is great for short or long runs especially if you have some prototyping to do. Rolls of vinyl are fed through a cutter that traces the outline of any vectored design. The areas of vinyl that are no longer needed are removed from the role and then the design is heat pressed onto t-shirts or any other garments. Just like in the pictures below.

Embroidery is especially good for workwear or polo shirts where a premium look and feel is required.
