Background
The Craft Beer Co. Clerkenwell EC1 first opened in July 2011.
The idea was simple and that was to create a great place with an inviting atmosphere, the best products and the best service that you could find in a UK pub. It focused on sourcing beer from far and wide, little known brewers from all over the UK and International brewers that had rarely been seen in London before.
The Craft Beer Co. Clerkenwell was hailed a beer lover’s paradise with 16 cask lines and 21 keg taps, as well more than 200 bottles. In fact, before the year had ended, the pub had been crowned Best Bar in the UK on RateBeer.
The Craft Beer Co. then looked to open more pubs with the same simple values, great beer, wines and spirits and exceptional service. They wanted to capture what they called ‘old school pub values’. More pubs have opened, but the values and ethos of the business have remained exactly the same since day one as has the ownership of the business, which is proudly independent.
Project
We’ve had a long standing relationship with The Craft Beer Co. and were given the green light to Design and install Signage for their latest location on Old Street.
Due to the location being in Shoreditch, we designed & produced something that would stand out and compliment the creative culture that surrounds it.
Once design was signed off, we had the capability of cutting the large scale vinyl stencils in-house.
Sticking the vinyl graphics to the face of the walls, we then applied the custom mixed paints using an air-compressor spray gun.
