Artwork Guidelines

Achieve the best results possible by having the correct artwok set-up. If you have any questions or need a helping hand, please get in touch.

DTG Print Guidelines

  • PNG / PDF / AI / PSD form at with transparent background.
  • Resolution at 300 DPI.
  • DTG printing is a print process that uses CMYK colours and it is not possible to produce Pantone references.

Original artwork will be processed for colour reference and a digital proof / mock up will be sent back for approval.

Please appreciate that screen colours (RGB) and printed colours (CMYK) may vary although we invest a lot of time in making sure it’s as accurate as possible.

    Screen Print Guidelines

  • AI / SVG / EPS files converted into vector curved outlines.
  • PSD / PNG files with transparent backgrounds can be printed depending on artwork. (We will check your design first).
  • Screen Printing is a process where ink is pushed through a fine wire mesh (silk screen) directly onto the garment. This means each silk screen is loaded up with 1 ink colour from your design. The more colours you have in your design, the more silk screen setup you will be charged for.

Original artwork will be proofed onto the requested garment for an accurate representation of what the final print will look like and print size.

We can colour match Pantone references if required to meet brand guidelines. If you have no Pantone specification we will mix custom inks to come as close to your proof.

    Embroidery Guidelines

  • AI / JPG / PNG / PDF files are suitable for embroidery.
  • Embroidery is a process where we take your artwork and scan it for digitization. This will convert your design into stitches, specifying the stitch count and separating the individual colours.

The higher the resolution of your file the better your embroidery result will be.

It is important that we confirm sizes and artwork of the embroidery before digitizing as any modifications will incur extra cost.

The colours of threads have the equivalent match to Pantone colours but they are not exactly the same. We will carefully select and proof you with an accurate representation of the colour stitch you will receive for approval.

    Vinyl Heat Transfer Guidelines

  • AI / SVG / EPS files converted into vector curved outlines.
  • For your design to meet the requirements of Vinyl Heat Transfer your artwork will need to be in vector format and outlined. This is for the vinyl cutter to then read round your design and cut it into the sheet of vinyl.

Original artwork will be proofed onto the requested garment for an accurate representation of vinyl colour and print size.

We colour match vinyl to your design but we are unable to get exact references due to the selection being much slimmer than Screen Printing ink and Embroidery threads.
