Don’t Drink Hophead
#dontdrinkhophead was dreamt up to celebrate all that’s good about British beer for the annual Great British Beer Festival.
The campaign was a mix between ‘reverse psychology marketing’ and the genuine want to promote the diverse variety of beer that are brewed in the UK.
Using the hashtag, twitter users we encouraged to “#dontdrinkhophead, drink something else”. The best 100 tweets won a #dontdrinkhophead t-shirt that was proudly worn at GBBF.
It produced some very funny tweets and is one of the best digital marketing campaigns we’ve managed to date.
